the List where Standard Time ROCKS year round:

* Hawaii, USA
* Arizona, USA
* Queensland, Australia
* Buenos Aires, Argentina
* Afghanistan
* Aruba

So it is a lie or nicely said a stretched truth about their agruement of getting on board with the rest of the world. The rest of the world does NOT keep daylight savings because their is nothing to save in summer.

If something is good, why do you keep fixing it?

Sen. John Upton from Michigan purposed moving the observance of Daylight Savings in the States. It would begin in March and end in November. This change is in the Energy Bill that is in the process of getting passed.

The arguement for pushing Indiana to observe Daylight Savings was that Indiana was behind the times and out of step with the country as well as the world. Opps, problem. Every country that observe Daylight Savings does not change when the USA decides to change. The second part of the arguement was for better business. Tell me how do you do business well when you are trying to remember when each country is changing and which country is jumping forwards or backwards depending on the hemisphere.

Pure chaos! But what do you expect when you allow governments to play god and move the sun? If this Daylight Savings is so good for business, why do we keep making changes to it?

a riddle from the Hobbit .....

This thing all things devours;
Birds, beasts, trees, flowers;
Gnaws iron, bites steel;
Grinds hard stones to meal;
Slays king, ruins towns;
And beats high mountains down.

(can you guess this riddle before you read further?)

Time!! Time!!

- Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien (from the chapter entitled Riddles in the Dark)

Indiana has most recently watched as the government officials took their basic freedom of time away. Observing Standard Time was mocked and called a crazy notion. Beaten and left to die, no one dared to notice how precious and good a constant time was for every day life and for business.

Indiana being on the edge of the time zone line has the little town governments gathering to make a mighty plan to stick together as a united front when the Dept. of Transportation comes in to decide where the fault line should be laid out . It is greedy little misers trying to control the destiny of the sun. '' We want Eastern Daylight Savings - We want Central Daylight Savings,'' are the shady mutterings of those gathered. They have no care in the world if the line should bite the north western part of the state off from the rest.

The idea of keeping the entire state on one time zone has never burst forth on their small minds. United communities means keeping the time zone line to the outer borders of our state to ensure a better quality of life and business.

Amazing that man thinks he can hold Time his hands and manipulate it into any shape he desires. Careful Time spares no one.

Time is a basic freedom....

"Time is the coin of your life. It is the only coin you have, and only you can determine how it will be spent. Be careful lest you let other people spend it for you." Carl Sandburg

Time is a basic freedom. Tear it down. Stealing an hour from Winter poor in sunlight to give to Summer rich and overflowing in hot sun. Stealing away our mental health as we spend our working hours indoors and when we go home the Vitamin D is already going to bed. Stealing away our natural sleeping & eating patterns to changing our clocks to trick out the sun.

Time is a basic freedom. We have allowed the governments to enslave us to our work for the sake of business. So where is the money? ... not in my pocket & not in yours. Tear it down. The earth in made up of two hemispheres. While the Northern Hemisphere is enjoying Winter, the Southern Hemisphere is playing in Summer. Guess what? While one hemisphere is jumping forward, the other hemisphere is falling back. Huge chaos when it comes to global business especially when there is not a set global day to change clocks. ie: Australia falls back a week before America springs forward in April.

Our world has gotten smaller and we need to think more global. Why choose chaos? Choose to observe standard time year round in all countries.
